My name is Kelsey and I love to bake!

I am a wife and SAHM. I spend most of my days entertaining and taking care of my kiddos and, after finally putting them to bed, I spend my nights baking and decorating! I have a Bachelors degree in Health Science and worked in the hospital for 7 years but after my youngest was born I decided to leave the hospital and become a SAHM. I am so grateful that I have so many wonderful customers that have supported me and allowed me continue to stay at home and watch my kids grow! They have even started to show interest in helping me bake and decorate their own sweet treats!

My love for baking started as a little girl when my sister and I would help my mom bake cookies for family every Christmas, we would bake hundreds! When I was a little older my mom and I took a cake decorating class together and that is where my love for decorating started! I was always very into drawing and painting, art was one of my favorite classes! And I was able to combine my love of art and baking to create beautiful and yummy baked goods!

Sweet Treats by Kelsey started as a hobby, I love baking and sharing my talent and passion with friends and family made it such a rewarding experience. After a few years of baking for friends and family(and having my friends and family constantly tell me I needed to start my own business and open it up to the community) I finally decided I would start by business Sweet Treats by Kelsey. I officially launched the business a few months after one of my biggest supporters, my big sister Katie, passed away. It was hard and it was so scary but also so rewarding! My sister pushed me for many years to start my business and without her I couldn't have done it! I know if she were here she would be so proud of the business that I have created. In the past 3 years since I started taking orders my passion and talent has grown, I am constantly challenged to try new things and make myself a better baker and decorator.
